Our Story

Cara met Liam in her last year at Penn State University. She caught Liam’s eye as she walked into his studio apartment on College Ave by pure luck.

To preface their story, there were many reasons why Cara and Liam should have never met. To name a few, Penn State was the only university Cara applied to close to home. Had she chosen to attend one of the other universities she was accepted to out West, there would have been zero chance they would have ever met. Fate was also on Liam's side; he played D1 athletics on the Penn State Soccer team and was red-shirted his first year. Because of this, Liam stayed an extra year to graduate. Since Liam is 3 years her senior, had he not been red-shirted, Liam would have undoubtedly graduated, packed up, and continued his life elsewhere. To top it off, Liam and Cara ran in different circles, had completely different majors and were only 2 blips on a map out of 46,000 students on campus.

Yet unbeknownst to either of them, these decisions would eventually lead them to meeting the love of their lives at a friend of a friend of a friend’s pre-game party.

Not soon after the party, they began making time to see each other. They were young, carefree and passionately in love (without even knowing it). They spent almost every day together learning more about each other, caring for each other - living in the moment of this new budding relationship.

Soon the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, and the months turned into years. And sooner than they would realize it, 6 years had past and they enjoyed one hell of a rollercoaster ride (Arya included). Through all the twists and turns that life threw at them, their love, admiration and respect for each other grew. They watched each other develop into their own. Having met each other was one of the greatest gifts God could have ever given them.

We are so blessed to have met at the right time in our lives. Not a minute later, not a minute sooner.
